Resolution source — definition
The official authority a prediction market uses to determine the outcome of a contract.
Every market specifies a resolution source — the AP, a government press release, a regulator filing, a sports league, or a specified URL — that the oracle uses to settle YES or NO.
If you're trading, read the resolution source carefully. Two markets on the same topic can settle differently if their sources disagree.
