NO share

NO share — definition

A contract that pays $1 if a prediction-market question resolves NO, and $0 if it resolves YES.

A NO share is the mirror of a YES share. If YES trades at 40¢, NO trades at approximately 60¢ — together they sum to $1, minus a small spread.

Buying NO is the cleanest way to bet against an event without needing margin or a short position.
