A formal challenge to an oracle's proposed market outcome, opened during a defined dispute window.
On Polymarket, anyone can dispute a UMA-proposed outcome by posting a bond. The challenge then goes to UMA token-holder vote.
On Kalshi, disputes are handled by Kalshi's market-integrity team under CFTC rules.
